'MEX & Co' Mex Merrick performs his own material with the help of Vanessa Williams and Adrian Roddick. Also appearing regularly is Dave Precious with some of his own songs and some bluesy tunes too.
The afternoon includes both local and visiting performers. During the course of the afternoon there will be much original material played plus some bits we all know.

WEDNESDAYS 9pm approx. All year round
Wednesday has long been established here as 'singers night'.
Hosted by 'The Boscastle Busker' JOHN MAUGHAN this has been the most consistent of our evening sessions.
Even when the flood of 2004 closed the hotel for the best part of a year, enthusiasm was such that John with fellow musicians could be found singing in the car park and on cold nights in the 'building site' bar seated on heaps of plasterboard around a fire of timber off-cuts.

			The 'Welly' is known far and wide for it's live music which features regularly all year round. Every week of the year we host a variety of sessions ranging from traditional unaccompanied folk to modern contemporary music, including much original material from both local and visiting artistes. Everybody is welcome to come and partake, either as a performer or listener and we will make every effort to accomodate new musicians and singers on both on a casual, itinerent basis or as a formal booking. Many of our casual visiting artistes are full time professional entertainers who drop in knowing of our reputation and who have previously experienced our warm, friendly and appreciative atmosphere. We do everything we can to promote live music as we know that this is as much a part of traditional hostelry as the accomodation itself. Generally we have set days for our music but this can vary especially in the summer months. Please contact us at any time to check what is currently planned as we often add extra dates to our regular weekly events which are listed below.
